Rentals & Demos

We have a small fleet of Cannondale e-bikes available for rent between Memorial Weekend and Labor Day. All of our current rental bikes are Class 3 (pedal assist up to 28mph, no throttle). These bikes are perfect for zipping around Columbia Falls or up Going to the Sun Road. While we do accept walk-ins, calling ahead to make your reservation is the only way to ensure that we have a bike ready for you in the correct size and style. We do not rent bikes out if suitable transportation is not available (hitch mount rack or tailgate, no trunk mount racks or taking apart bikes to fit into rental cars).

Your rental includes a helmet if needed. The bikes will be equipped with a small bag with a water bottle cage, pump, multi-tool, tire levers and extra tube. We do recommend that you bring a backpack or hip pack stocked with extra layers, hand warmers, water, snacks, and other necessities if you are planning to ride Going to the Sun Road. It may look sunny out, but it can get very windy and wet at the summit and makes for a very chilly ride back down.

A rental day is not 24 hours; rental day is defined as shop business hours, or (Oct-May) 10-6 Tuesdays- Fridays and 10-4 Saturdays and (June-Sept) 9-6 Mon-Fri and 9-4 Sat-Sun. Bikes returned the following morning will be charged an extra day. We are closed on Mondays year-round.

One Day Rental: $125

Multi-day rental: $100/day

Multi-day rentals must be arranged in advance and will not be applied to an unscheduled late delivery.

Cancellation Policy

All reservations cancelled at least 48 hours prior to pick up date will incur a 10% cancellation fee; the remainder will be refunded to the payment card. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of pick-up are not refundable.

A7 Cycles bike demo program

Our demo program is still small, but continues growing as the shop grows. We have a variety of Ibis, Norco and Rocky Mountain mountain bikes and e-MTBs that can be tested out prior to making a purchase. Our demo period begins when the trails dry out in the spring, and typically ends around Labor Day (at which time all demo bikes will go on sale).

Demo bikes are sent out for $150/day for acoustic bikes and $200/day for e-MTBs. Up to two of your demo fees can be applied to any bike purchase of at least $1500. Just give us a call to reserve yours!
